Our 75th Anniversary:

The Bowen Assembly of God was first mentioned as a registered A.O.G. Church in the June 1932 Minutes of the Assembly of God, Queensland Conference report.

2007 saw us celebrate our 75th Birthday, which was held over a three day period, from the 9th to the 11th June.

One year before the event, we established a committee to plan the upcoming event. Some of which Included a Concert, traditional Hungii, (the food just melted in your mouth.), a Museum of Photo's and relics, a Car Rally, and Commemoration Ceremonies.

Many ex-members of the church came from all over the State to help share in the Celebrations of this momentous event.

We Praise God for what He has done in the Last 75 years, but we look forward with excitement to what He has in store for us in the future.

After all, this is a New Day.
